Absolutely loved this coffee! Personally, I think it was better than Starbucks! Line can be long but seemed to move fast! Would recommend.

A solid coffee shop with lots of pastries. Local with several locations, including one in Wake County. Coffee was good. Had a tree up with ornaments for guests to help put on the tree, which my kids enjoyed. A nice touch. Clearly a place locals not only frequent but are known while still being welcoming to visitors.

Front Porch Cafe, particularly the Kill Devil Hills location, is the first and often the last stop when we are visiting the beach each year! The coffee is wonderful and I am such a fan that I buy whole beans of the Kill Devil Quattro to drink at home, although, nothing beats it when it is made for you! Maria is always so pleasant and has a smile no matter how busy and hectic the shop may be! Even my kids know that mom gets her special coffee treat each morning when on vacation! That’s how I like to spend my “souvenir” budget!

I’ve been having the worst luck trying to find a good matcha latte in OBX… but after seeing all the positive reviews for Front Porch Café, we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did! The ambiance and vibe here are lovely. The shop is super cute with plenty of tables and space to sit, relax, or get some work done. The staff was SO friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Now, the matcha… it did not disappoint! Perfect balance, great flavor, and the right color (unlike another spot in OBX that basically handed me green milk the other day 🙃). The everything bagel I had was tasty, and my husband said their banana nut muffin was a fantastic twist on a classic. He also really enjoyed the nitro cold brew – solid and smooth. Definitely recommend checking them out at this location and supporting them – such a great find!

The cutest coffee cafe. Outside seating available. Front of cafe parking. The spinach cream cheese croissant is a must. I'm a Matcha girlie and am very satisfied with it.

I’ve recently moved to the area and had a conversation with a few of the staff members who were so welcoming. Each time I go in there, I am always greeted with a friendly face. I am a huge fan of the “salty beach” which is the BEST iced coffee drink ever! Although they do not serve breakfast/lunch, their pastry selection definitely makes up for it!

I stopped by here for a morning pick-me-up and it was just what I needed. The coffee is roasted right there, and you can really taste the difference in how fresh it is compared to other places. It has a super relaxed vibe that makes it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a bagel or a pastry while catching up on emails. The staff were friendly and made me feel right at home the second I walked through the door. I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I am in the area.

Didn’t get picture of the coffee, but we had the Dubai chocolate and a West third. Both were flavorful and delicious. The chocolate chip cookies have big chunks of chocolate and were chewy and amazing.

Cute little coffee place. When we visit OBX we typically go to Dunkin, but decided one morning on our way to Knotts Island, we would patronize a local place for our coffee run. This place was only 4 min from where we were staying and it was on our way. It had 4.7 stars and I can see why. I got an iced salty beach latte and it was perfect! We got it to go, but the little cafe was quaint. Even if it was rush hour busy, there is enough room to move around to get napkins, straws or add sugar, etc to your coffee. This may be a new coffee place to go while visiting the area!
